I had a great last minute idea that the girls absolutely loved!!! I rounded up several board games. We broke the girls into groups of two (counted off-1-2-1-2 etc.) I then set a 5 minute timer. When the timer buzzed, girls numbered 1 moved to the right to the next game table and picked up the game where the other girl left off. (The next time, it was the number 2 girls turn to move to the next station to the left. It was really fast paced and fun. At the end of the hour, I brought the girls together and read a scripture that related to each game. I would read the scripture and then ask the girls which game it belonged to. Then we got a chance to talk about each scripture. Here is a list of games I used and the scriptures I picked for them. This obviously has a lot of variation with it.
JENGA--Helaman 5:12
SORRY-1 Nephi 10:18
AGGRAVATION-Alma 7:23
PICTIONARY-Mosiah 24:6
TROUBLE-D&C 64:9-10
The games are common ones that are usually around the house. Besides, they are also very affordable at Wal-Mart or any discount store.
