3 CD players & CDs
bottles of water, veggies, fruit, plastic table cloths
bath salts sachet to take home w/Halle Berry quote
wordstrips/posters of cleanse, exfoliate, moisturize, & enjoy!
Refreshment Ideas:

Fruit and veggie platters with bottles of water
Activity Outline:
Pedicures:
Kitchen: Fill buckets (3) with warm water. Set up foot spas. Use serving cart to pass around products (soap, lotion, polish, etc.)
Pass around soap, then foot scrub, washing it off in the buckets. Pass around moisturizer. Some girls may want to polish toenails.
Use President Hinckley's "Stand for Something" as a starting point, and then discuss "standing" up for our "standards" while their feet soak.
Facials:
Set up padded chairs & tables (cover tables w/plastic) Will need some buckets & washcloths (may use sinks in bathroom) If available, set up lawn chairs? Set up CD player & music; serve refreshments while waiting for masks? Set out a cleanser, toners, masks, & and moisturizers
May want to locate a machine with a black light that you sit under and it shows where your problem skin areas are.
Talk about the steps to glowing skin - inside & out: cleanse, exfoliate, moisturize, & enjoy!
Manicures:
Set up paraffin wax thing for moisturizing, will need CD player & music, washcloths & buckets, products
While the girls are scrubbing, play the Kenneth Cope song "His Hands". It had a good impact to have them be quiet and scrubbing their own hands while listening to a song about the services the Savior has done for us.
Talk about how our hands should always be busy in service to others.
Pair girls up to give each other a hand and arm massage with lotion. Let everyone paint their nails.
Take Home Ideas:
A folded washcloth tied with ribbon, folded with a pocket in the front containing a facial "recipe book" with facials for different types of skin, and a white rubber YW bracelet with flowers in pastel value colors.
