1. Print out these images on heavy paper.
2. Cut along the dotted lines. Reinforce the tabs with tape if desired.
3. Thread the shapes through the holes.
4. Glue the "What is Tithing" and "Tithing Puzzle" pages to the inside of a manila file folder. Be careful not to glue the moving parts down. You'll want to glue the Tithing Puzzle page to the right side of your folder so the parts will slide out more.

Enlarge a Tithing Slip to an 8.5 x 11 piece of paper and cut it into strips. Have the kids try to piece it together in the right order. We did this for a Family Home Evening and my kids thought it was fun! Then pass out tithing slips and envelopes. (Idea by Stephanie Farnsworth)

Fill out a tithing slip - For Primary age children, have them practice filling out a tithing slip. Give each child some paper money valued at different amounts. On the first child's paper tell him/her to pay $1.00 for tithing, .25 for fast offering and .50 to the missionary fund. Make each child's assignment different. Review with each child as they finish if they filled out the paper work right. Have them put the money and tithing slip in the envelope and seal it closed.

Promises for paying your tithing
Where does tithing go? Sept 2005 Friend
Years ago my husband ran into our neighbor at the bank. He was in line to exchange his "regular, ruffled and sometimes written on money" for the best bills the bank had. He explained to my husband that he always goes in and tries to get the cleanest, crispest and newest money when he goes to church to pay his tithing. This neighbor wasn't a member of the church but he paid his tithing (or the collection plate) and he made sure his offering was the best he could present to the Lord. That taught a great lesson to our family. (Idea by Fran Curtis / ga04112007)
