Kim writes, "There is the object lesson idea about the "toppings on a Sundae" in which the sisters made treats/actual sundaes for the girls. Our budget is quite low in our ward, so I thought of an alternative (although not as yummy!). Attached is a document that can be printed off and has pictures of all the toppings that could be put on, ranging from neapolitan ice cream through to cheese sauce! I tried it out with my husband and - when I asked "don't you like tomatoes/etc." he would reply - "not on a sundae(Sunday)!"

My plan is to print (I set mine to print 2 pages per sheet) and cut out all the "toppings" and put them into individual bags with some cardstock (14cm x 9cm to fit in my girls' handout-book) for the girls to glue on (leaving out the caption for last, so as not to give away the punch line!). The girls can then create their ideal sundae. Once the lesson is revealed, I'll hand out the captions to add on last.

Just for clarification (as they may not be clear), the attachment shows: vanilla/chocolate/strawberry soft serve, olives, a cherry, a jalapeno pepper, pickles, sliced onion, spaghetti bolognese sauce, tomatoes, pepper, mint chocolate chip, chocolate, neapolitan, strawberry, vanilla ice cream scoops, cheese sauce, a wafer, sprinkles, chocolate sauce, a waffle cone and a bowl! I hope others can find it helpful."
