Pay each other a compliment! Lately, our family has had a hard time being nice to each other so I came up with a fun activity. We had a breakfast where everyone was in charge of something. (cinnamon rolls, eggs, bacon, hash browns, juice, etc.) In order to get their food they had to "pay" each other a compliment. I handed out fake money that they had to write the compliment on. (i.e.- if you wanted bacon you had to write down something nice about that person and pay it to them before you could get it...even for second helpings....(and you couldn't write the same thing twice) The breakfast was a huge success and it forced them to realize the good in each other.
