Glue the cards onto lightweight cardboard. Optional: cover the pages with clear, self-sticking paper. Cut out the picture cards and the title cards.
Game 1
Put the title cards in a small container (sack, bowl, box) and mix them up. Lay out the picture cards faceup. In turn, each player draws a title card, matches it with the correct picture card, then tells the cards’ story, reads it aloud from the scriptures, or, if available, reads it from the Old Testament Stories reader (see references on the card).
Game 2
Place the picture cards and the title cards facedown. In turn, each player turns over a picture card and a title card. If the two cards match, that player tells the cards’ story, reads it aloud from the scriptures, or, if available, reads it from the Old Testament Stories reader (see references on the card). If the cards don’t match, the player turns the cards back over and it is the next player’s turn.
