5. Ask the child to do a small task. For example, give them a small blanket and ask a child to fold it. Or bring in a few different socks to match up...something like that... Anyway, tell the child they did a good job; however, regardless of how well they folded that blanket, once it is used, it will need to be done again. No matter how well they matched up the socks... once they are used, they'll have to be matched up again. So it is with our choices. We need to make good choices over and over again. However, when we do this, it will help us to be happy.
6. Game - "Leader Says". Have the children listen closely to your commands and follow only when you say “leader says” first (for example, “leader says put your hands on your head”; “leader says walk in place”; “stop walking”—children should continue to walk in place because you didn’t say “leader says” first). Tell the children they were great followers, and explain that there is someone else they should listen closely to and follow. Read together John 13:15. Jesus Christ obeyed Heavenly Father’s commandments. When we choose the right, we are following His example and we will be happy.
7. Sing, "If you're happy"
8. Object Lesson - With one magnet, label each side. One side "sin", the other side CTR. Explain to the class that when the magnets pull together that is what it is like when we choose the right. When we follow Christ's example we become like him and become one with him - it's hard to pull us apart because we are doing right and so much like Christ.

12. Discuss how CTR stands for Choose The Right. Then talk about what their initials are. Print out a page for each child with their initials that says: (example) "NH will CTR". If you choose a big font and print the outline of the letters, then each child can color the letters and make their own CTR poster. (Idea by Natalie Hill / ga01072008)
