Diane writes, "For our New Beginnings, we learned how to Survive in this Wild World at Camp Tippicanoe. We set up a tent in the gym, surrounded it with artificial Christmas trees, a fake campfire, sleeping bags, etc. to simulate an outdoors camping scene. We sat our audience on the stage so we could utilize the entire cultural hall. Our Bishop was our Wilderness Survival Guide, and he basically led the Young Women around in circles, winding this way and that, always ending up in front where we had a display of each “Wild Animal”. It was a really fun night. Each of the girls got their own personal Survival Guide to take home. I printed them out as little booklets, had holes punched along one side, made a burlap cover for it, and sewed it together with twine. Very cute!

Here is a copy of the skit, the survival guide, the Value Songs, the animal posters, and the water bottle labels we used. I had a blast planning this night and hope others can find it helpful."
