4. I am my Heavenly Father's child
5. Adapt a scripture story in which Heavenly Father has watched over and protected someone. For example, Nephi with his brothers on the ship (see 1 Nephi 18) or Daniel in the lions’ den (see Dan. 6). Let the children role-play this story, using simple costumes or name tags. Use questions to review the story.
6. Explain that just saying you love someone is not always enough. You must show him that you love him through your actions, just as Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ do for us. Tell the children that there are many opportunities to serve. Explain the scripture, "When ye are in the service of your fellow man ye are only in the service of your God". Play Service Charades. In one bowl, have slips of paper with ideas for service. Have the child whose name you draw from the first bowl pull a slip from the second bowl and act out the service for the other children to guess. Possible service ideas: washing dishes, giving a hug, writing a letter, making a bed, playing a game with a younger child, making cookies, saying a prayer for someone, drawing a picture, smiling, picking up toys, getting the mail, setting the table, reading to a younger child, and washing the car.

8. We did the #2 enrichment activity, the children enjoyed it. Then as they did their *art activity*, I read a book 'Because I Love You' by Max Lucado. With the art activity, I wrote 'Heavenly Father watches over me, Because He loves me. I am a child of God.', I also glued two little googley eyes on top of the circle.
