7. Activity to go with scripture story shared in lesson - Put your class into groups of 2 or 3 and hand each group a napkin and a flour tortilla. Challenge each group to tear the tortillas into as many pieces as they can on their napkins in two minutes. Once time is up, discuss the following questions: Are there enough pieces for everyone in this class? How about our entire ward? Jesus performed a miracle when he fed 5,000 people with just five loaves of bread and two fish (and there was some left over). How was sharing the loaves and fishes a demonstration of His love? What can we learn about sharing with others from this miracle?
8. Coloring sheet from Behold Your Little Ones: Nursery Manual, (2008),24–27. From the story of the fishes and loaves, this coloring page shows a Jesus standing next to a disciple who is passing bread to a woman and boy.
