ARTICLES: Where music leads
DISCUSSION: Have a discussion with your class why music is a part of every Sacrament Meeting, Stake/Ward and General Conference. Music enriches the lives of both those who create it and those who listen to it. It edify and inspire us and help draw us closer to Heavenly Father. Music has a profound effect on your mind, spirit, and behavior. It can also teach us powerful gospel truths....such as the Plan of Salvation.
HANDOUTS: The Things I Love the Most
LESSON HELPS: I taught them how to use hymn book to look up subjects and match with scriptures about the plan of salvation. We went through each verse of "Oh My Father" and talked about the different parts of Plan of Salvation. Then watched the video "I am a child of God". (Idea by Karen Johnson)
